NORSTATE WELCOMES NEW BOARD VOLUNTEER

AROOSTOOK COUNTY – NorState Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Jenney Dionne to its Board of Directors. Dionne was appointed during the credit union's annual membership meeting held on May 12.

"We are excited to welcome Jenney to our Board of Directors," said Jeffery Davenport, President and CEO of NorState Federal Credit Union. "Her business experience, community involvement, and passion for our region will be a tremendous asset as we continue to serve our members and help strengthen our communities."

A resident of Madawaska, Dionne is an entrepreneur and business owner, bringing valuable experience in leadership, business development, and community engagement to the Board. As the owner of several local businesses, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting the economic vitality and growth of Aroostook County.

“NorState believed in me when I opened my first business 12 years ago,” stated Dionne. “Today, I’m honored to serve on its Board of Directors to give back and help provide the same support and opportunities that helped me grow.”

Also, at the annual membership meeting, David Dionne was appointed Chairman of the Board and Sherry Locke was thanked for her 5 years of service to the Board of Directors and members of NorState Federal Credit Union. The current slate of Directors for NorState FCU are David Dionne (Chairman), Leigh Smith (Vice-Chairman), Lance Morin (Treasurer), Kate Roy (Secretary), David Mitchell, Raymond Marquis and Jenney Dionne.

NorState's Board of Directors is comprised of volunteer members who provide strategic direction and governance to help ensure the credit union remains focused on its mission of improving the financial well-being of its members while supporting the communities it serves.
