NORSTATE FCU ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP PROMOTIONS
AROOSTOOK - NorState Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Morgan Stevens to Branch Manager of its Presque Isle office. Stevens officially began her new role on February 17.
Stevens joined NorState Federal Credit Union in July 2023 and quickly demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to member service. In January 2024, she was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager, where she continued to excel in supporting both staff and members while contributing to the overall success of the branch. In her new position as Branch Manager, Stevens will oversee daily operations, lead branch staff, and continue fostering strong relationships within the Presque Isle community.
“Morgan has consistently shown exceptional dedication to our members and her team,” said Kim Embelton, AVP of Branch Administration. “Her positive attitude, leadership abilities, and commitment to our mission make her a natural fit for this role. We are confident she will continue to strengthen our Presque Isle location and deliver outstanding service to our members.”
Stevens assumes the Branch Manager position following the promotion of Nicolas Beaudoin, who previously served as Presque Isle Branch Manager and has recently transitioned into the role of Compliance & Fraud Manager.
Beaudoin joined NorState FCU in August 2020 and has steadily advanced within the organization. He was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager in June 2023 and then to Branch Manager in January 2024. Throughout his time leading the Presque Isle office, he demonstrated a strong commitment to both members and staff.
In his new role as Compliance & Fraud Manager, Beaudoin will focus on safeguarding the credit union and its members by helping monitor, detect, and prevent fraudulent activity. As financial fraud continues to rise across the banking industry, positions dedicated to compliance and fraud are essential in protecting member accounts, maintaining regulatory standards and preserving the trust that members place in their financial institution.
“Nicolas has developed a strong understanding of our operations and importance of protecting our credit union and its members,” said Amy Michaud, VP Compliance & Risk. “His attention to detail and commitment to upholding regulations and following procedures make him well suited for this role.”
NorState Federal Credit Union congratulates Stevens and Beaudoin on their well-deserved promotions and looks forward to their continued leadership and contributions. Advancements like this reflect the talent and dedication of our team members, and NorState FCU is proud to continue supporting career development and internal growth opportunities.
